Marriage

In Denmark, you can get a Civil Wedding at the Cite Town Hall or get religiously married in the State Church (Folkekirken). Homosexual marriages are entirely legal. However, it is only allowed to have one husband/wife.

A beneficial resource of information is the community website Marriage Without Borders (‘Ægteskab Uden Grænser’), where you will find answers to questions previously put by people in similar situations. Since it is a community, you can also post your questions if you fail to find the correct answers. They also post relevant news and even participate in government hearings about law changes.
