As you receive a CPR Number, you’ll also automatically get a Tax Card. Denmark’s tax on personal income is relatively high compared to many other countries. The taxes on revenues and profit paid by individuals and companies contribute to financing the Danish Welfare System.

Calculating the tax, you must pay is done for each calendar year. It’s a highly complex calculation that considers many personal factors but expects that you will have to pay roughly 50% (half) of the part of your income that exceeds DKK 45.000-.
